Well folks, this weekend was indescribable. Though there were only a few Top Fuel boats there, Eddie's new hull looked amazing and Speed Sports ran a 4.68 making them 1 qualifier, but we did not let our 2nd place 4.93 qualifying slow us down.

First round was pretty windy, but Jarrett held it together and got the win over Problem Child setting us up for the final round against John Haas in the Speed Sports Special.

As the boats sat on the line, we were all waiting nervously, aware of the bad hot rod we've had the entire weekend. The ambers lit, capsule lids came down, and Jarrett ran a winning 4.98 E.T. to Haas's 5.06. The crew was ecstatic! Our first Top Fuel win of the season, and we can only get better. Jarrett's wife Stacy could hardly believe we had just won. "We just won a Top Fuel race," she kept saying. It was a perfect weekend, the boat ran the fastest it's ever gone at 242 MPH, and the crew did the quickest turn-around ever.

We definitely are getting things figured out. Watch out for us this season!
