IHBA NITRO NATIONALS RED BLUFF

The original plan to race Memorial Day Weekend ended in bad weather and a postponement until the following weekend.

During qualifying on Saturday, we ran our quickest recorded E.T. at 4.79. In addition, we were part of one of the fastest side-by-side passes along with Speed Sport's 4.78. We qualified in the second spot.

We tried new props the first round and the boat did not seem to like them; we ended up giving the win to Glen Wilson in the Toxic Rocket.

We brought our boat back to the pits only to find that the teeth of our w-drive had been sheered completely; it actually was NOT the props that caused a strange bite and first round loss.

Unfortunately, the Hot Licks team will not be present at the Supernationals in Chowchilla, CA, however, we look forward to putting on a show at the SDBA race in San Angelo, TX the same weekend where there are expected to be a total of seven Top Fuel Hydros.
